Update on the Target Data Compromise- January 16, 2014

Recently Target announced that certain guest information was also removed from their systems during the compromise time frame of November 27 through December 15, 2013.  This information included names, mailing addresses, phone numbers and email addresses for up to 70 million individuals.  Please note that this type of consumer data is not part of the cardholder information held in the magnetic strip of your debit card which is swiped in the card authorization process at the point of sale.

Having a good credit report means it will be easier for you to get loans and lower interest rates. Lower interest rates usually translate into smaller monthly payments.
